13th Annual Charity walk

Dr. Yiota Demetriou – The Dancing Queen Foundation.

Our school is extremely proud to take part in the 13th Annual Charity Walk, I’d Rather Walk than Drink and Drive. This foundation was established in memory of the late Dr. Yiota Demetriou whose vision to help children in the field of psychology was cut short due to a reckless drunk driver. The aim of the foundation is to help realize her vision and provide financial assistance to children who require psychological, educational and physical support.

Dr. Yiota Demetriou was an American Academy graduate and our theatre was named in her honour. This charity walk, on Sunday 14th November 2021, will promote and raise awareness of the devastating effects drunk driving has on the lives of people.
