ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT SECONDARY SCHOOL – From American Academy to Professional Football
Published on October 17, 2026
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming back one of our former students, Marko Veselinovic, who returned to American Academy Limassol for a special visit!
A graduate of the Class of 2023, his journey with us began in our Boarding House, where he spent his first year before continuing his education at the Academy.
Today, he’s pursuing his career as a professional footballer in Iceland!
During his visit, he took a trip down memory lane, exploring the campus, reconnecting with his former teachers and sharing his journey since graduation.
Our students were especially excited to meet him, asking questions about his experiences, life as a professional footballer and the steps that brought him to where he is today. Of course, the visit wouldn’t have been complete without a few photos and autographs!
It’s always a proud moment to welcome our alumni back and see how far they’ve come. Marko, thank you for returning to inspire the next generation of Academy students!
