I have been attending American Academy since Year 5 Primary School and despite the initial anxiety of starting a new chapter in my life with secondary school, it has been a smooth transition, thanks to the friendly environment the school provides.
What I love about our school is the support that the students receive from the teachers. We can go to them at any time of the day to ask questions about our subjects and even other aspects of our lives. During break-time, students from Year 1 to Year 7 can be seen playing football and basketball together, which emphasizes the close community we have built. The American Academy is a place that helped me discover my passion for economics and entrepreneurship, with numerous opportunities, such as BOSS
(Business Olympics Secondary Schools), and a place where I built lifelong relationships, not only with students, but also with my teachers. I am ending this chapter of my life in June, but I will always remember my time in American Academy with a smile on my face.
