Our students opted to wear their own clothes for Civvies Day with proceeds for charity, specifically Agapi. In addition, our annual Beat the Legends Basketball Charity Competition took place with our Houses being promoted as well. Our teachers, Mr. Aristou and Mr. Xanthou remain undefeated. Volunteerism and charitable endeavours are greatly promoted at our school in order to increase self-esteem and provide a better understanding of how many people in our very own communities need help. Acts of philanthropy can lead to a greater feeling of self-worth because helping others is fulfilling and can help a teen reflect on what they have as well as enhance their sense of purpose. Lastly, our aim is for our students to gain more empathy and build long-term generosity
