AMERICAN PRIVATE SCHOOLS LTD

For the last two weeks before Easter we were happy to host two students from the University of Newcastle, who took some maths lessons with our Class 3 Secondary students. Working together with major Universities is a strength of the school. Our students benefitted from the lessons and their feedback was very positive. Thank you Patrick and Jaser for everything you did during the fortnight.

Day 2 of our University Trip with our careers counselor Yiota Skitini – HIM Business School, Montreux 🇨🇭
Today we visited HIM Business School in Montreux, a university with an inspiring concept: “Be World Ready.”
What makes this school unique is the way it combines academic learning with real industry experience. Every six months, students complete an internship, allowing them to gain valuable hands-on experience while studying. By the time they graduate, they already have significant professional experience in the business world.
HIM offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with specializations in areas such as Hospitality Management, Finance, Marketing, and Business Management. The program focuses on developing leadership, customer experience, and global business skills.
A great example of how education and real-world experience can be combined to prepare students for successful international careers.
Another insightful and inspiring visit on our university tour!
With over 1,000 visitors, the event was buzzing with excitement, innovation, and discovery. Our students truly shone, presenting creative experiments and demonstrating remarkable curiosity, confidence, and scientific thinking.
It was inspiring to see young minds in action as they explored, questioned, and innovated. We are proud to be nurturing the scientists, thinkers and innovators of tomorrow!
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event so memorable!
Congratulations AGAIN Sophia!!

We proudly celebrated Autism Awareness Day at American Academy Limassol, embracing neurodiversity and the unique strengths that make our community so special. 💙
As part of this meaningful day, we held a school assembly where we also presented a donation of €20,000 to Mikroi Iroes charity supporting children fighting cancer – funds raised through our Winter Shows this year.
We are incredibly grateful to our staff, students and parents for their generosity, compassion and support. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making a difference and helping us build a more inclusive and caring community.
We are incredibly proud and deeply thankful to have had the opportunity to raise 20,000 through our school shows and donate it to Mikroi Iroes. This achievement is the result of the hard work, dedication, and generosity of our entire school community—students, teachers, and families coming together for a meaningful cause.
It is a truly special and heartwarming moment for our school, reminding us that even small actions can create a big impact. We strongly believe that no child should ever have to fight cancer on their own, and through unity, compassion, and support, we can bring hope and strength to those who need it most.
Together, we are making a difference—and that is something worth celebrating.
