AMERICAN PRIVATE SCHOOLS LTD
The 25th March and 1st April, are two significant milestones in Greek and Cypriot history — a tribute to bravery, freedom, and national identity.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to all our students who participated in the celebration. Your enthusiasm, discipline, and respect truly brought these historic moments to life. Through your performances, you reminded us all of the importance of remembering our past and celebrating our heritage.
You made us proud!
Let us continue to uphold the values of courage, unity, and perseverance that these days represent.

We are very proud of our student, Sofia Okonskaia, who represented Cyprus in the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship gaining a silver medal in the ribbon event. Well done, Sofia!

European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship
Proudly celebrating the spirit of freedom and heritage this 25th March.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our students, who represented our school with pride and dignity, and to our dedicated teachers, whose guidance and commitment made this participation truly memorable.
Together, we honour the past and inspire the future.
The primary school Greek Department celebrated the 25th of March 1821 and the 1st of April 1955–59 with a wonderful commemoration featuring dances, poems, songs, and creative crafts, honoring our history and heritage.
Well done to our students and teachers!

We stay connected with universities all over the world. This month we toured top universities in Switzerland to bring back the latest knowledge and advice for our students. The Culinary Arts Academy was our first stop.

The Greek Department students started the month with exciting and creative projects! Exploring topics such as “My Favorite Animal” and “The Value of Healthy Eating,” they combined imagination with meaningful lessons about everyday life.
A great beginning to a productive month!

This year’s Science Fair is bigger and better than ever. We have partnered with five top universities
in Cyprus — their science professors will be demonstrating experiments and giving talks for students
considering advanced study in the sciences. Our own science department teachers and students
from both our English schools (Primary and Secondary) and the Greek Athletic School (Secondary)
will run hands-on activities for younger children and teenagers, including:

  • Telescope demonstrations and a planetarium
    · Erupting volcano and ice-cream making experiments
    · Fossil farm dig & discovery
    · Face painting

The event will be broadcast live on Klik FM to capture the excitement and discoveries of the day.
To mark 40 years of inspiring future scientists since 1986, we are also running a Science Scholarship
Competition offering a 40% discount on school fees for students entering our secondary school (ages
11–17).
