Congratulations to two of our secondary school students for their sporting achievements.
Giannakis Kadis (Class 3) won first place in the 1250m event at the Cyprus Swim Series and Davids Avtuhovs (Class 2) represented Cyprus in the 20th Balkan Open Championships in Ju-Jitsu in Athens. Davids won the gold in his weight and age category.

Your generosity and participation truly reflect the spirit of compassion and unity that defines our school. This event is part of our ongoing social initiatives, and we are proud of our remarkable school community for making a real difference.

The American Academy is delighted to welcome Ms. Dimitra Kesisi for an informative seminar dedicated to everything you need to know about furthering your studies in Italy.
Ms. Kesisi has been instrumental in organizing the participation of both Public and Private Italian Universities at our University Fair. She will provide valuable guidance on:
  • How to prepare a successful application
  • entrance exams such as IMAT (Medicine), Pharmacy, Engineering, and many other programs
  • Opportunities for students pursuing higher education in Italy

As part of our social education programme, BROllywood Film Academy and Dr Elena, a renowned psychologist and medical doctor, provided invaluable seminars to our students concerning the dangers of addiction, such as vaping, the consequences of peer pressure and making informed choices. This initiative was arranged on 10th October which is World Mental Health Day.

Through their commitment, responsibility, and leadership, Michael and Nataly will represent the student body and work to strengthen our school community. We look forward to the positive impact they will make this year.
This week, our Classes 6 and 7 attended an engaging seminar about the importance of donating blood. Students learned how blood donations save lives every single day, how just one pint of blood can help multiple patients, and why community participation makes such a big difference.
The session not only explained the science and safety of blood donation but also encouraged our students to become advocates for this life-saving cause. While many of them are too young to donate themselves, they are excited to spread awareness and encourage family and community members to participate.
We are proud to see our students taking an active interest in giving back and supporting the health of others.
  •  Reminder: Our Annual Blood Drive will take place next Monday at school from 10a.m. to 12 noon. We welcome parents, staff, and community members to join us in making a real impact.
