History House Competition – Classes 1-3

Congratulations to our students in Classes 1, 2 and 3 for the excellent projects they produced! The models, paintings, dioramas, carvings and art work displayed creativity, ingenuity and a genuine love for the subject; evidence of the enthusiasm and teaching instilled by their teacher. Projects made using wood, clay, metal, 3D printing etc. depicted Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome for Class 1, while Class 2 focused on Catholic Churches/Monasteries, Henry V111 and his wives, ships from the Spanish Armada, Elizabeth 1 and the Gunpowder Plot. Class 3 presented WW1 models of submarines, tanks, aeroplanes, trench warfare and the Somme battlefield; truly a replete display and effort. Let the judging begin…
