Adventure, teamwork and determination in action!

On Saturday, our Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award students headed to Troodos to take on an approximately 20 km hike as part of their Adventurous Journey.
Working independently in teams, students navigated the approved route while developing some of the key qualities at the heart of the Award — resilience, teamwork, independence, responsibility and perseverance.
The hike formed an important part of their journey through the internationally recognised Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme, challenging them to work together, problem-solve and step outside their comfort zones.
Well done to all of our students for taking on the challenge and showing such fantastic determination throughout the day, especially considering the adverse weather conditions!
