Our mid-term break at the Jubilee Hotel in the Troodos mountains included teambuilding activities, sports and lots of games, bringing everyone together to display excellent teamwork. Loads of fun for everyone .

On Saturday 11th November 2023, the 3rd Cyprus Indoor Rowing Challenge took place at Palodia Primary School. The event was held in memory of Mr Stephanos Malekkides, and part of the proceeds were donated to PASYKAF. Several of our students took part and received the following results: Tristan Michaelides- 1st in U16 singles and first in U19 double and quad events. Michalis Coudounaris-2nd in U15 doubles event. Many thanks to our students, Michalis Xystras, Alexis Coudounaris, and Sanad Thalji, for volunteering at the event, which also hosted the first Pararowing Indoor rowing race in Cyprus as well as an Adaptive Indoor rowing race.

Our Reception class went to Akrotiri Education Environmental Center for environmental day. The children explored the beach and learnt about the turtles.

On Environmental day Year 4 visited Ecophysis Bee & Nature centre. The children enjoyed a tasty brunch, did honey tasting and bees wax activities. They were so excited when they created their own candles. Most importantly they learnt how indispensable bees are in our ecosystem.

On Environmental day Year 5 went to CyHerbia Botanical Park & Labyrinth in Avgorou. Children had the chance to explore nature, go on a teeasure hunt and use their senses to identify plants. They also learnt the use and purpose of each herb.

Our Principal, School Counselor and Head of Art Department visited NABA and Marangoni University (Milan) to gain first hand experience of their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Textile Design, Creative Media Production, Product and Service Design, Fashion Management, Virtual Arts and Curatorial Studies, Interior Design and Urban Design. This visit proved to be insightful and we are confident that Italy is a favourable destination of choice for our students undertaking tertiary studies in the aforementioned areas.

The students learnt about recycling and planted their own plants. Guests from the Forest Department visited our school and spoke to the children about Cypriot Herbs and plants. The children also prepared some lovely posters on the environment. What a fun day!

Our Civvies Day on Friday 10th November enabled students to wear their own clothes and make a donation for charity. The proceeds will be given to the One Dream One Wish Foundation for children who have a terminal illness. Class 7 also had a bake sale as a fundraiser for their graduation ceremony.
