Following our successful sports day at Tsireio Stadium, the PE department arranged basketball and football games. The Junior Boys’ Football Team played Foleys while the Junior Girls’ Basketball Team also played Foleys. The girls team performed very well and won but unfortunately the boys football team lost. This was their first game, so they will get stronger as the year progresses, but we are proud of their participation.
Our Senior Boys’ Basketball Team went to the B Technical School and played against their Senior Team. The home team was very welcoming and a great atmosphere was maintained throughout the game. Our senior boys were successful and won. Our Junior Boys’ Basketball Team played Foleys, a close game, but didn’t win.
Well done to everyone that took part in any of the teams. We will be organising a lot more games as the year progresses and look forward to excellent sportsmanship.
