Understanding Emotions: Why and how we feel what we feel
Published on April 29, 2026
Our GCSE and IAL Psychology students visited the University of Nicosia to attend a workshop titled “Understanding Emotions: Why and how we feel what we feel”.
The BSc Psychology Program of the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Nicosia invites students to participate in an interactive psychology workshop led by trainee psychologists from the Centre for Therapy, Training and Research (KESY) at the University of Nicosia. This workshop is designed to familiarize high school students with how emotions work, their psychological basis, and their impact on everyday behaviour.
Through hands-on activities, discussions, and practical examples, participants explore how emotions influence the way we think, make decisions, and relate to others.
