Razgovarajte o školi: Pričajte sa detetom o tome šta znači i šta se dešava u školi. Objasnite mu da će se tamo učiti, igrati i sticati nove prijatelje. Odgovarajte na sva pitanja i umirite bilo kakve brige koje dete može imati.

Razvijajte socijalne veštine: Podstičite dete na interakciju sa vršnjacima i igru u grupama. Ovo će mu pomoći da se lakše integriše u školsko okruženje.

Radite na samostalnosti: Naučite dete osnovnim veštinama kao što su vezivanje pertli, oblačenje, rasklapanje torbe, pravljenje užine i slično. Samostalnost će mu pomoći da se oseća sigurnije u školi.

Razvijajte emocionalnu inteligenciju: Pomažite detetu da prepozna i izrazi svoje emocije. Ohrabrite ga da govori o svojim osećanjima i strahovima u vezi sa školom.

Posetite školu unapred: Ako je moguće, organizujte posetu školi pre početka nastave. To može uključivati obilazak učionica, upoznavanje sa učiteljicom/uciteljem i razgledanje okoline.

Congratulations

to our student, Tristan Michaelides (class 3), who is a member of the Cyprus Junior Rowing Team. During the summer he participated in the 68th International Litomerice Regatta (27 and 28 August) where he finished first (double sculls) and achieved second place in three races. At the weekend he also participated in the Greek Development Races in Corfu where he placed fifth in the finals. We are very proud of him!
