The general objective of the Erasmus Programme is to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in education in Europe and beyond, thereby contributing to sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, to driving innovation.
The Youth Workers for Refugees Training Course aims to bring to the surface, problems that refugees face in a European society. It is a fact that not all European countries have the same stance towards refugees, with the same will to help and to comfort people who have been displaced; losing their properties and essentially their lives, which they were accustomed to. It is obvious that these people need our help to feel comfortable, wanted and included, as this is the vital key that will provide these people with the second chance that they need.
Our teachers attended an intensive training programme/seminars in Athens to equip us with this vital knowledge, in order to implement/enhance this accordingly, and impart their newly acquired knowledge to everyone at our school.
