Celebrating Tsiknopempti at our primary school. Our students had the chance to play traditional games, watch traditional dances and hear ‘tsiatista‘ (traditional 2 lined rhyming poems).
At the end of the day they had the traditional Tsiknopempti feast with a lot of meat , lokoumades and pourekia.🍗🥩🥓🌮🌭🍖

Class 3 students had the opportunity to carry out food tests using different indicators and food sources. They investigated the presence of macromolecules: carbohydrates (glucose and starch) in bread, potatoes and juice, proteins in milk and lipids in sunflower oil. In their presence, the indicators changed colour and hence the test is positive. In our secondary school science lessons, we love to prove theory in practice and have a hands-on approach!
