Five of our upper school students had the opportunity to attend the Summer School at Newcastle University, accompanied by their teacher. This was a physics, statistics and mathematics programme plus lots of cultural excursions, including Alnwick Castle.

The fifth week of our Summer School Programme, with the theme environment, introduced our students to nature’s forms and textures. They worked in pairs and created inspiring artworks with their eyes closed, using natural elements found in Agia Paraskevi. The week also entailed English lessons and activities based on the aforementioned topic and ended with another successful visit to the Limassol Rowing Centre for a variety of sports such as kayaking and rowing that they enjoyed immensely.

In the last week of summer school at our Angel’s Kindergarten, children participated in sports, arts and crafts, made pizza’s and went on an amazing trip to the Donkey Farm. On the last day we had ice cream and face painting.

The fourth week of our Summer School Programme with the theme social media, entailed English lessons and activities on the topic, as well as a visit to the Car Motor museum where our students had the chance to walk through the path of car history. They also had an educational tour and a road safety presentation. Our week ended with rowing and kayaking with the Limassol Rowing centre, where students had the opportunity to try a variety of new sports.
