Alumni Spotlight
We’re thrilled to share an inspiring interview conducted by our dedicated student, Naya Jamous, with the accomplished Dr. Pollyn Chrysochou, an outstanding graduate of the American Academy!

‍ In 1998, Dr. Chrysochou embarked on her academic journey at our institution before venturing to the University of Cyprus for her first Bachelor’s in English and English Lit. Her passion for knowledge led her to pursue not one, but two Master’s degrees – one in English Lit at Warwick University and another in Education and Teaching Methodologies at Edinburgh Uni in Scotland.

Dr. Chrysochou holds a prestigious PhD in English Literature and Performance Theory. Currently, she is making a significant impact at the American Academy and an English institute, while also collaborating with the European University (English Department-Humanities).

✨ We’re immensely proud of her accomplishments and grateful for her continued dedication to education.
