This exercise highlights the importance of adhering to detailed guidelines, as it ensures accuracy in completing tasks and helps develop critical-problem solving skills. For over three decades, Lions Clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a special art contest in schools and youth groups aged 11-13. By creating peace posters the children are given a chance to express what peace means to them through art and creativity. Our secondary lower school students participated in this competition and three students’ works of art were selected to compete with the rest of the posters globally.
Congratulations to our secondary school students whose work was selected for the Lion’s International Peace Poster Competition:
1. Maritina Leonidou (3A)
2. Rushda Anjum (2A)
3. Gavriel Panaoulas (3A)

Much appreciation to our students and staff who supported our school participation in the annual ‘I’d Rather Walk Than Drink and Drive’ charity walk for the Dr. Yiota Demetriou, The Dancing Queen Foundation. This charity walk aims to make a difference by preventing further accidents and fatalities caused by people driving under the influence of alcohol and the foundation also provides financial assistance for therapy to families. Thank you to our school community

All our children had the chance to learn about this fruit and the various things made from it, such as wine , traditional cypriot sweets like shoushouko, palouze and more. They also participated in a fun sensory activity, where they stomped grapes to represent the traditional wine making method.
