Food Donation for City Strays

For World Animal Day children and staff collected dog and cat food for the animals in shelters.

Mrs Elena Voudas, a volunteer from Sirius Dog Sanctuary Sirius Dog Sanctuary came to talk to the children and thank them for the food.

Sirius Dog Sanctuary is a voluntary organisation devoted to the welfare of the stray dogs of Cyprus. They currently house over 150 dogs of all ages and breeds, all waiting to be found caring homes.

We realised what an important job these volunteers do and how even a little effort helps greatly. We were glad to help these beautiful animals and excited to meet one of them too.

Thank you all volunteers for saving these dogs and giving them love. We will think twice now when we want to buy a dog, we can save and adopt one from the shelter.
