Environmental Day

Environmental Day for our primary school students. Each class had the chance to visit different places and learn about the flora, fauna, the geology of Cyprus, the procedure of beeking, honey making and winemaking. Year 6 visited Cyprus Museum of Natural History in Dali.

Year 5 visited Akrotiri Education Environmental Center.

Year 4 visited the Bee and Embroidery Museum in Kato Drys.

Year 3 went to Troodos Geopark.

Year 2 went to Ecophysis Bee and Nature Centre in Vavla.

Year 1 went to Antelia Bee Park.

Reception class went to the Environmental Education Centre in Koilani. People from Terra Cypria and Friends of Earth Cyprus came to our school and gave some lovely presentations to our pre reception students. The children saw and learnt a lot of things about nature but most importantly they now know that we have to respect and be friendly to the environment.
