Health Day was organized for the children in the Primary School with different activities taking place for each class. Children learned about taking care of their body through healthy eating, keeping clean, doing exercise and many more ways. Through a class presentation by Dr. Kyriaki Daphnou, Year 6 students also learned about diabetes; what it is, the signs and how it is treated.<\/p>\n

The whole school enjoyed a healthy breakfast and later in the day, all the children participated in sport activities and dancing. We also had a visit from dentists and a doctor. Children enjoyed making their own fruit salad and other yummy but healthy treats.<\/p>\n

Thank you very much to the dance teacher, Ms Dona Gabriel and the team from Orthodontic and Pedodontics dentisty Kokkinos Smile Clinic Dr. Niki Kokkinos (Pedodontist), MsRodikaCharalambous (Dentist) and Ms Stavriana Tommy (Hygienologist). Thank you to our staff, parents and guests who made this day so enjoyable. A big thank you to Zumita Juice Bar, Cyprus Mall and Karmi Fruit market group of companies for all their kind donations and help.
